European Traditional Chinese Medicine Association (ETCMA)

ETCMA was formed in 2002 as a forum for Professional Associations and Registers of Traditional Chinese Medicine inclusive of Acupuncture, Herbal Medicine and Tui Na. It had been orginally formed as the EATCM in 2000 but this consisted of both Professional Bodies and Educational Institutions and ended up dissolving. When the ETCMA was formed it was agreed to be solely for Professional Bodies. It is now the largest organisation representing professional TCM associations in Europe.
